The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in February that the law discriminated against women, writing it reinforced “negative stereotypes depicting women’s breasts, but not men’s breasts, as sex objects.”
The court rejected the idea that removing the ban would lead to women “parading in front of elementary schools or swimming topless in the public pool.”
The Colorado ruling makes topless females legal in six states, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah and Wyoming.
Oh sweet, I had no idea! I live out in the country anyway, but now I won’t feel so bad if I flash everyone, or just decide to take it off!

Quite frankly, I would that most men put on a T-shirt on their not-something-to-look at chests and beer bellies. Might we be going the wrong direction here? Then again, driving across PA the other day, we noticed a billboard for Totally Nude Restaurant. That does not really sound like a pleasant dining experience (for the patrons or wait-staff)… where do you put your note pad and pen with my order? -Oscar

I literally wear long pants and long sleeves and gloves and boots to go into my garden so the only place that gets attacked by mosquitoes is my face. I would wear a bee suit if I had one. Why would anyone want to go topless? I get that its an option for all genders and I am down for that, but it is not an option for me.

Grin…. Not everyone has the mosquito problem you have described.
I’m buff most morning with my coffee as the sun rises.

It’s nice to be unencumbered by clothes, especially when it’s hot outside. That being said, I could only do that in my BACK yard garden since I don’t live in the country and I’m much to nervous. But, hey, if you’re not shy, why not!

I live in the country, 1/2+ miles to my nearest neighbor and from the nearest road. This is excluding Daughters family, grandson and his wife.
They all know coming to my house will likely expose them to nudity but have adjusted and don’t seem to be bothered(offended) by my nude at home life style.

You’d need to be pretty brave or pretty stupid to strip off in South West Scotland, you’d risk frostbite and midges and neither are desireable.

Why stop there? Let’s all walk around naked. What’s the big deal? Personally, I don’t want the sunburn and, if it’s not sunny, usually I’m too cold anyway. Always looking for a sweater.

Everyone makes life style choices. I for one have a body best viewed from afar with or without clothing.
However I do live in the country, 1/2+ miles to my nearest neighbor and from the nearest road.
Weather permitting I spend many of my mornings in the buff setting on my back porch with a warm cup of coffee listing and watching my garden grow and all the visiting birds, bees and critters of all sorts.

Legal, but if you do it, you’ll be the lady on the block everyone tells their children not to talk to.

What woman in their right mind would garden with out a top on? Put in a sports bra…oh my gosh! I can just imagine all the things that could happen when gardening with out a top on!!

Grin … I’m only guessing, but, I’ll bet pruning Rose’s is not a good topless gardening activity.

I hope it doesn’t catch on in the UK. My neighbour is in her Seventies.

Could that be classified as a public health hazard?

If you are out in the country, who cares? But in a city, that might pose a problem.

You may be right, but, most gardens are in back yards out of view of John and Jane Q. Public.
I really don’t see any reason a male or female should not be afforded the same rights when it comes to being topless in public.
Oklahoma has had this law for several years and I have not seen a publicly topless female. 😦
