Desert Southwest – Making Do With What You Have

I found this picture and had to share it with my blog friends.

Albuquerque, New Mexico In the desert southwest people make do with what they have on hand. In this case its a Tumble Weed Man. Having enough snow on the ground in the desert southwest to make even a small snowman is a rare event.

    Ahh, tumbleweeds. I miss seeing them blow across the highways and fields out in western Kansas around Dodge City and Russell. That tumbleweed man must be pretty huge! Very creative.
