A little about Hot sauce. There are many local and national brands to choose from. ranging from very mild (Louisiana style) to the insanely hot Carolina Reaper style sauces. (Officially the Worlds Hottest Pepper).

Lets get real. Louisiana style sauces are as hot as most people want or can handle. However for those that like a hotter sauce the Tabasco company has 7 flavors and styles to choose from.

  1. We are going with burgers for the 4th. I raided the deep freeze to find what to thaw out in a few days: beet, deer, goat, seasoned pork. Hmmm. Which to combine.
    Enjoy the holiday. Oscar

You must be rich! Grin … goat price has gone through the roof in this area. I don’t raise goats! I can’t seem to keep them fenced in or from eating things I don’t want them to eat. I’m really setup to raise cattle and pigs.
      Hope you enjoy your cauliflower.

  4. This is almost my Grandmother’s potato salad but I think she got it from the County Extension Agent in the 30s or 40s. Everytime I take it to a pot luck, someone says “That’s the way my grandmother made it!”

    • Re Tami Baker Thanks for taking time to visit my humble little blog and for your comment(s)
This is in fact a recipe taken from my great grandma’s note book, up dated to use today’s off the shelf ingredients. Her notes instructed you how to make the mayo and mustard in your kitchen..

      Happy 4th of July
