I was going to send you an article about the drought and food prices, but I see you’ve seen it. I love container gardening because you can bring the containers inside if you need to. Don’t forget that there are organizations that give out seeds and seed exchanges. Someone might be able to plant a garden free.

    • Re: Simple Farming Your O-so right about free seeds. I share/give extra seeds to all my gardening friends. Seeds come 20 to 50 in a package, Almost no one ever plants that many seeds in their garden.

      Happy Gardening

  5. I love the carrot container idea! At least you could carry this container back into the garage so the rabbits won’t get a hold of it! I was thinking about trying to grow some romaine indoors over the winter with our grow lights. Will let you know how that goes!

    • Re: Nikitaland – Thanks and Yes please let us all know how your romaine growing experiment works out
      Happy gardening
