I really believe if you have a plan and stick to it, you will get much more accomplished each day. I have carefully mapped out my daily schedule to help me make the most of my garden plans and working schedule.
However sometime even the best planning can be interrupted and you will get little accomplished. Like today for example. Plan a. After breakfast and coffee, that should end not later than 9AM. Feed and water chickens, sheep and rabbits. Back in the house to get warm. Go to town and buy dog food, pig feed (corn) and adult beverages (beer) today I think.
Opps, my daughter (Michelle L.) called, ask me to wait for the propane delivery truck, pay him and get a receipt. OK not a big deal, Michelle L. said the propane truck was on it’s way to her house. This ‘by the way’ was about 2 PM this afternoon. It’s now 4.20 PM, still no propane truck and I haven’t made it to town to buy dog food, pig food or adult beverages!
I couldn’t wait any longer, made it to the feed store just before they closed. So now even if we do get the 4 to 10 inches of snow our weather guy is forecasting and even if I get snowed in by drifting snow for a day or two, chickens, sheep, rabbits, dogs and I will have something to eat. grinning..
It’s now 5.30 PM, lets review my time management chart and compare it to todays accomplishments. Sure like that’s really going to happen or it even matters! It’s 5.30!
Why is common sense so uncommon?

My space in the ‘looking for things I had just a few minutes ago’ category is probably a little bit bigger than yours, I am constantly doing that. In fact, my fiance bought me a tool belt specifically preventing such scenarios but, sadly, it didnt work:)
Thanks for visiting my humble blog,
I think my time would be better spent, spending more time watching my garden grow and less time looking for something I have no intension of using anyway
